¹¹The sons of Levi were

Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

¹²The sons of Judah were

Er, Onan, Shelah, Perez, and Zerah. (Er and Onan had died in Canaan.)

The sons of Perez were

Hezron and Hamul.
